Handmade Textural Vase with Neck in Reactive Glaze

Handcrafted in New York, this sculptural stoneware vase features tightly layered slabs applied around the base, and finished in an earthy brown/black reactive glaze. The resulting textural relief creates depth and movement that make the piece equally striking on its own or styled with fresh or dried stems. Hand-built and kiln-fired, every vase is one of a kind and part of a small series by ceramic artist Nancy Hirschmann.
